Anaganaga O Dheerudu Review
I Think We Can All Safely Say, This is Disney’s Craziest Film Yet, It’s Not Your Typical Disney Princess Movie, But It’s A Lot Funner Then Just Watching Princesses All The Time.
Anaganage O Dheerude is the most unique Telugu film I’ve seen all year. Set in a fictional continent, where people are all bound to strange religious cults and live in strange towns which look like something straight out of the world of Spongebob Squarepants. I have heard speculations about Anaganage O Dheerude being a Telugu remake of Disney’s Prince of Persia, but for me the plot lines did not coincide. In this film the main character Yodha (played by Sidduharth) is a blind fighter, who’s been spending his years in a monastery. The goal of the film is to save the children of a town, who are to be (unknowingly) sacrificial victims for the strange religious cult. Action, adventure, fantasy, and romance this film has it all. Feels similar to mega-blockbusters such: Lord of The Rings and the Wizard of Oz but in ROCKING Telugu style.
Once Upon a Warrior
Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Overall Anaganage O Dheerude is an enjoyable film, although a bit strange at times, the music and the blind fighting/dancing by Sidduharth makes this film worth a view or two–or more. Great watch for older kid’s birthday parties.
